Detox Waters to Cleanse Your Body and Burn Fat

Detox diets are being touted as the next miracle for weight loss. Instead of going on a 3-day liquid cleanse diet try drinking water.
Whether you're trying to lose weight or you just want to look and feel healthier, one of the best ways to rid your body of harmful toxins is to drink water. Six to eight glasses every day will help to keep you hydrated and keep your organs functioning at their peak.
Instead of drinking plain water, try one of these fruit infused detox water recipes to not only boost the taste, they will also help to flush harmful toxins out of your body.
For fat burning, digestion and headaches try: green tea + mint leaves+ lime
Blood sugar support and digestion: cucumber + lemon + lime + mint leaves
Immune defense, digestion and heartburn: lime + orange + lemon
You can also add seasonal fruits to detox water. Strawberry, grapefruit, pineapple, and lime are all in season and will make great fruit infused detox waters. Here are two additional recipes to try:
Strawberry-Grapefruit = 1 whole cucumber, 2 grapefruits, 2 cups fresh strawberries and mint leaves.
Pineapple-Lime Detox Water = Squeeze fresh juice from 2 limes, add a lemon, add pineapple wedges and fresh parsley leaves.
