Workouts alone will not help you reach your fitness goals. There are 3 things that you must take ownership of, if you want to truly be successful. I call them the "3 C's":
1. Commit - you have to set a goal, set a date and commit to reaching it. Writing it down on paper, sharing your goals with others and keeping track of your progress are great ways to show yourself and others you are committed.
2. Consistency - Now that you are committed, it's time to stick to your goal. That means putting in the work needed everyday to help you reach success. This means no excuses, sticking to healthy eating, exercising and taking care of your body. Consistency will result in creating habits that are easy to stick to.
3. Challenge Yourself - The goal is to always try to make yourself 1% better than you were yesterday. This means challenging yourself with new things, pushing yourself past limits that you thought you could not reach and taking your fitness to new heights.
Once the decision is made to take charge and make changes by adding the 3 C's to your fitness routine you will see success and reach your fitness goals.
